Having made several cardboard texture plates to print with, I was amazed to see how they picked up the colour from each print that I did. Rather than mixing the colours up, they mostly stayed quite distinct, with the result that at the end of the printing session I had some very interesting texture plates.
It was a shame to wash them clean, but of course I did photograph them first as you can see.
