First Stages.

 With the weather turning really wintry, what better time to stay indoors and play with art! These prints are all the first stages, with several more layers to be added over the next few days. Here I used some pressed Ginkgo leaves, but they proved to be very brittle and broke after each use unfortunately.

 I found a roll of old textured wall paper in a charity shop recently which I bought. I then stuck pieces onto a piece of cardboard and sealed them with shellac. The vertical patterns in the above 2 images are from this wall paper.

Some vegetation gathered on a morning walk have been used in this gelatin plate print. I think that rather than add more layers, I'll probably add further  stamped images.
