With just coloured papers and very nice 'paint' markers we were challenged to produce mini pieces of art using cut out shapes and small marks, like dots, circles and dashes, rather like some of the indigenous artwork from this country. We had a lot of fun, and were further challenged to turn all or part of the pieces into small embroideries for display some time soon. It's amazing what lovely designs were found when using a viewfinder to isolate about 1/3 of each art work.
