I thought that was ice on the branches, which took me by surprise, evenif you are in midwinter. Clicking on the picture to enlarge it disabused me - very soggy spiders indeed!
What could possibly be poor about spiders! I dislike them intensely... mostly because the move so fast! grin Looks like you have a lot of sogginess abut at the minute, please send some for my garden.

Yes, we've had a little rain thank goodness. Need heaps more though.
