More Rain.

Dripping Wet Tree Bark.

               No frost this morning, just a steady drizzling rain. This Eucalypt bark just glows red when wet.

Still Very Cold!

                This leaf is beginning to thaw out, but the patterns of the frost are I think quite lovely.

Amazing Frozen Fungus

With an over night temperature below freezing, this odd shaped fungus was completely frozen solid this morning.

Waiting to be Stitched.

     Well, here it is in its entirety, just the background artwork however, as I still intend to stitch on it.

Just Finished in Time.

With just a couple of hours to go, I have managed to finish this little jumper in time for the first birthday celebration. Using all left over yarns it was quite a juggle to make them last the distance, hence all the stripes and mixture of shades. I had to buy the dark purple in the end, so that's why there is a bit more of it left.

Stamp Carving Workshop.

Can't you just see the concentration here? These are participants in a stamp carving workshop that I ran this morning. Judging by the lovely stamps that most of the women produced, it won't be long before artwork featuring hand carved stamps is on display.

The Fossil Dinosaur!

Well, after much excavating, the dinosaur fossil is now out of it's plaster cast and all glued together. What a great activity for a budding palaeontologist!
