New Variety of Lettuce Too.

I have now discovered that pulling the sugar cane mulch up around the base of lettuces encourages the stem to rot. Note to self : Leave bare soil around the bases of newly planted out lettuces.

I've never grown this before, and while some plants went to seed early, most have just gone on and on. This one is huge and we can't use the leaves fast enough.
