Spring is Sprung!

A bunch of beautiful daffodils naturalised in a bush setting. The previous owner of our bush retreat planted bulbs everywhere around the house and also on a hillside leading down to one of the creeks.
It is definitely not good to have exotics growing in the bush, but this part of the land was once cleared, so it's a bit different to planting in untouched bushland. I don't pick the daffodils very often, preferring to see them like this.
This is a floating foamy egg mass of the Banjo frog, also called the Pobble Bonk frog after the sound that a chorus of these frogs make. The frogs in this dam were full of the joys of Spring and could be heard a long way off.
