No party with balloons and games for this young man, a day at the Wildlife sanctuary and a play in the creek is much more to his liking. He did however get to pat a platypus as a very special treat, the grown-ups enjoyed the encounter just as much I think.

what a lovely picture Sue. remids me of my chilhood when I lived near such a stream. Hoe the young man had a lovely day.
Thanks Dorothy. He definitely did have a lovely day, even though it was very hot, especially sitting in the open watching the Birds of Prey display. The huge Eagle was an instant hit of course.
